ICMR – National Institute of Nutrition Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India is an apex body in India which works for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research. ICMR Scientist Educational Qualification 2019
SCIENTIST ‘B’ (MEDICAL)
Essential: MBBS Degree recognized by MCI / any State Medical Council
Desirable:
- MD(Medical) in the related subject from a recognized university.
- ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications OR Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
- iii) Two years R&D / Teaching experience in the relevant field (Medicine) after obtaining essential qualifications.
Job Profile :– To actively participate and assist in research programmes of the Institute especially in the area of General Medicine and related research work.
SCIENTIST ‘B’ (NON-MEDICAL)
Essential: 1 st Class Master Degree in relevant subject as mentioned above from a recognized University. (or) 2 nd Class M.Sc., in relevant subject + Ph.D in the relevant field from recognized university.
Desirable:
- Additional Post-Doctoral research / teaching experience in the relevant subjects in recognized institutes(s)
- ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications OR Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
- iii) Two years R&D / Teaching experience in the relevant field after obtaining essential qualifications.
Job Profile:- Actively participate in research activities of the Institute under the guidance of senior scientists.
ICMR Scientist Age Limit 2019
Age will be calculated as on 14-03-2019
Age limit for Scientist “b” Posts:- Candidate must not be more than 35 years as on 14-03-2019. Age relaxation upto 5 years for Government Servants & SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates. The age of any candidate should not be more than 56 years under any circumstances.
ICMR Scientist Application Fee for ICME posts
Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees five Hundred only) payable in favour of “The Director, NIN, Hyderabad” should be enclosed along with application and should reach to this office on or before closing date. The SC/ST/Women/physically handicapped candidates (PH) are exempted from the application fee.
No other mode of payment will be accepted.
ICMR Scientist Selection Procedure for ICME 2019
First, the applications sent by candidates would be shortlisted by the screening Committee. After shortlisting, candidates would be called to appear for the written exam, objective types. Then candidates would be called for personal interview. On the basis of their marks scored, final decision would be takes by ICMER.
ICME written test
The written test would be of 100 marks consisting of 100 objective type questions of one mark each for the correct answer, for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. The final score will be computed for a maximum of 40 marks based on the marks obtained in the written test of 100 marks.
ICME recruitment interview 2019
After appearing for written test, candidates would be called for interview or discussion. This interview would be of 20 marks and marks obtained in interview would be counted for final selection.
