Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent

The candidates must have scored 70% marks in 10th or 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and 50% marks in English subject.

Those who are going to apply must have done M.Sc in Physics / Maths or B.Sc or M.Sc with Physics , Chemistry & Maths or M.A in English with Physics or Maths in Intermediate or equivalent standard) or M.A in History or BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Mech/ Electrical/ Electronics for PC (EDN), BE/B.Tech in any discipline or MBA or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with first class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Material Management or MCA / M.Sc (IT) for SSC (Logistics) with adequate experience.

Indian Navy Recruitment Age Limit 2020

The applicants must be born between  2nd January 1998 and 1st July 2000. This means a candidate must be 17 to 19 ½ years to apply for the vacancy in logistics department. The candidate who are going for the Sailor must be of age 21 to 24 years. The minimum education qualification should also be fulfilled.

Indian Navy Selection Process 2020

The selection s based on the written exam & Merit list. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview session . The Interview is conducted by the Navy Superior.

  1. Medical examination:- The medical examination is to check whether your body has any serious disease or malfunctions in you , which could result in any serious obstacle.
  2. Physical Fitness Test :- The Physical fitness is check by Indian Navy via some aspects. The Test is named as Physical Fitness Test
  3. It consists of 1.6 km run which is to be completed in 07 minutes, 20 Squats (Utthak Baithak) and 10 Push ups.

Medical Standards in Indian Navy (Bhartiya Nausena)

  • The Medical checkups are conducted by the Military Doctors who check a candidate on the basis of various standards applicable for a sailor. The details of the guidelines can be seen in the Navy Orders (SPL) 01/1999 by IHQ MOD (Navy).
  • The physical standards of a candidates are given as . Minimum Height :- 157 cms , Wieght proportionate to the body.  There should be well developed chest with minimum expansion of 05 cms.
  • The candidate should have good mental & physical health & disease free (disability and have no cardio vascular disease, surgical deformities like Knock-Knees, Flat-Foot).
  • No Infection should be there , Ears are wax cleaned & Teeth’s tartar should be removed.
  • After all the check-up, a candidate is end for the written test or Interview.
  • The visual standard of candidate should meet the standard with glasses AND without glasses.

Training in Indian Navy 2020

The training of an AA (Artificer Apprentice) is for total 17 weeks. It consists of Nine weeks training at INS Chilka & Eight weeks of Sea Training. After the 17 weeks , four year engineering course is commenced by the candidate , which will provide them a diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering recognized by the Government.

Initial Engagement / Posting In Indian Navy

The candidate will be posted as a Sailor in Indian Navy after the training is done. The service period of Artificer Apprentice is 20 years. The service period can be extended before you attain the age of 57 years. This is also dependent on rank & service record that was made in so many years.

Indian Navy Class 12th Pass Jobs 2020

Age Criteria for Indian Navy
The age of candidate should be between 17 to 21 years. The age bars are strictly applied by the candidates. Candidates who have reservation through sports qouta via (Outstanding player in a game played at International / National & State Level) will be applicable for upto 12 months.

Nationality

Candidate  should be an Indian by nationality. Gorkhas ,subjects of Nepal, are also eligible for application.

Marital Status
Candidate should be unmarried male.

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed class 12th with Science stream with subjects i.e. Physics and Mathematics and Optional subjects of Chemistry or Biology or Computers.
  • The minimum marks for the applicant in class 12th is updated in the Newspaper  on the required period via advertisement.

Physical Standards

The candidate should be physically fit for all the work. The physical test is done on the specified venue to qualify. There is a written exam also conducted. The physical Fitness test includes.

  1. 1.6 km run which is to be completed in 07 minutes
  2. 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push ups.

Medical Standards

The medical standards will be checked by the authorized Military Doctors which are prescribed under current regulations applicable to the sailors of Indian Navy on entry. The detailed guidelines for medical standards are laid down in the Navy Orders (SPL) 01/1999 by IHQ MOD (Navy).

The candidates should have well developed chest with minimum Height of 157 cms & weight according to the height. The chest expansion should be minimum of 05 cms.

The candidate should posses good mental & physical health without any of these cardio vascular disease, surgical deformities like Knock-Knees, Flat-Foot.There should be no past history of fits or psychiatric ailments Vericose-vein etc.

  • Infection in Ears.
  • Wax & tartar removed from ear & teeth.
  • Eye should be well from any visual strain.

Training

The training of Senior Secondary recruit is of 24 weeks at INS Chilka with professional training in the allotted trade in Naval Establishments all over the country. Branch/Trade will be allocated as per requirement of service.

Initial Engagement

The sailor of Indian Navy is posted after the training completion. The recruit is engaged for 15 years for Senior Secondary Sailor. The period can be extended by the navy if the candidate haven’t attained the age of 57 years which is dependent on rank & performance by the sailor while in the service.
