Twitter changes Egg Profile Picture to human-shaped blob
On Friday Twitter has introduces a new display picture in the place of egg. The egg do not reveal anything about the account. Now there will be human figure which will be according to the gender of account holder. According to Twitter , this change will encourage the users to insert thier original picture in the profile.
The egg let you be anonymous on the web. People start enjoying to become anonymous on this. This egg was constantly placed in the profile picture for last seven years. Now it was started calling cute bird motif.

The egg was so misinterpreted that people who don’t put a profile picture are considered bad people. They are considered as abusive people. Due to this Ken Armstrong said, “Never argue with an egg.”
This is not just an unofficial assumption. During an official statement Twitter said.
Why Twitter changes Egg Profile Picture
“We’ve noticed patterns of behavior with accounts that are created only to harass others—often they don’t take the time to personalize their accounts. This has created an association between the default egg profile photo and negative behavior, which isn’t fair to people who are still new to Twitter and haven’t yet personalized their profile photo.”
More deeply we can say that any people can hide themselves through this egg. These people are sometimes very harmful for the other users.
Twitter senior manager for product design Mr. Bryan Haggerty said “These regular users would be using a troll’s clothing in some ways, not realizing that they probably should be changing that,”.
This new avatar is called nondescript human silhouette. Twitter chooses this so that it should not remain unidentified & anonymous.
This change is not just a change for appearance. This is also a step to lessen the abuse & harassment that happens with many users. They can’t even know that it is male or female. This will also let them know the account is fake or real.
Removing the egg will let a improvement that will come that will decrease such number of people.
