Bypass Android Pattern Lock without hard reset

Here I am going to tell three methods that can break Android Lock Pattern without using hard reset option. These methods will be helpful when you have forget your Gmail password. The only known method to all people is to hard reset the phone. But that is not the only way.

How to Break Android Lock Pattern

So there are three methods to break Android Lock Pattern

  • Using Google Account Verification.
  • By using Pattern Lock Breaking Apps.
  • Using Windows Command prompt.

Using Google Account Verification

Here you have to try the pattern lock for five times. As you have forget the pattern then you just have to put any wrong pattern five times. After the fifth attempt you will see a screen where you can click on Forget Password. Now it will ask you the Google Id & Password. Put your password in your phone & your phone will be unlocked.

After this it will ask you to put a new pattern lock for future use.

Using Pattern Lock Breaking Apps

If you don’t remember the Google credentials then you can use some apps from Play Store. There are many apps in Play Store which can be installed in the phone via PC. Just use your PC & open Play store with login same in the Google Id. Install a Pattern breaker in your PC for ex.  Screen Lock Bypass.
Install the app in your PC & now restart your phone. Now a screen will ask you to activate the app. The app will ask you to bypass the Pattern lock. So after the pattern lock is breaked, you should uninstall the app or it will ask every time for the pattern break when you will restart.

Using Windows Command prompt

Before using these you have to install Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on your PC. ADB is a part of Android SDK. You have to enable the USB debugging in your phone.
If you don’t know about USB debugging then you can Settings >> Applications >> Development.
Now connect your phone with your PC & try these codes.
abd shell
cd /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases sqlite3
settings.db
update system set value =0 where name = ‘lock_pattern_autolock’;
update system set value =0 where name = ‘lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’;
.quit
If does not work then use the second code.
abd shell rm /data/system/gesture.key
Now after this reboot your phone when your phone will reboot, then it will ask you to enter your pattern. You can use any pattern to to unlock it.
May be some devices could not work this way but works in most of the devices. At last I will say that use such pattern that is easily remembered by you & stay secure for others.
