Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus
The popular Ubuntu version 17.04 has been released finally. This is named Zesty Zapus , with unity desktop as the last time. In the next version i.e. 18.04 will no more having the same Unity desktop. A group name UBports have come for research & development in Unity Desktop.
The support for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS has also ended after the announcement of Ubuntu 17.04. Ubuntu 17.04 has come with the same trend as of previous version i.e. with 9 month window support.
Features of Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus
Linux Kernel 4.10 : Linux Kernel 4.10 was announced last year. It supports ARM platforms, Raspberry Pi 3, and Surface 3 & improvements in AMD DRM drivers and Nvidia.

Driverless Printing
Canonical has bring a new feature of printing without drivers. Now its supports Apple AirPrint and IPP without any driver installation. It can also connect to printer through USB & network.
Swap file
The concept of swap partition is left behind by Canonical , replaced with a swap file. This move is a very nice move for newer computer that have high amount of disk space. Swap file takes about 2 GB of disk space.
Other changes
The default DNS resolver is systemd-resolved. The updated components of Ubuntu 17.04 is Terminal (3.20), Evolution (3.22), and Nautilus (3.20) and Software Center (3.22).
In Ubuntu 16.04 , unity 8 was introduced , still it can be used an alternative in the 17.04. The support for 32-bit PowerPC platform is closed.

Ubuntu 17.04 has two system settings. These are regular one & redesigned UI.
